Park fun

Wake up Baby!

"Hi Baby!"

"Peek-a-boo!"

"It's ok, I'll hold your hand."

Addy loves going in to see Kennedy after she wakes up. Addy goes into the room, drags the rocking chair footstool over to the side of the crib, hops up on it and says "Hi Baby!" The other day, the two started playing peek-a-boo over the crib railing... and then they started playing through the crib slats. Funnily enough, Addy matched Ken's sheets that day too.

Car cart

Addy thoroughly enjoyed her drive through the grocery store. Kennedy slept all the way through, so Addy must have been a pretty good driver!

Happy Easter!

A kiss for luck...

Easter egg hunting

Tulips!

Happy (belated) Arbor Day

The Smith girls went to an Arbor Day celebration at a local park on Wednesday. Afterwards, we just wandered the park a little and Addy decided that a little tree-hugging was in order. =)

Not quite...

...but still fun. I'm looking for a signature picture for Just Because. While this isn't quite it yet, I thought that it would still be fun to post. I'll keep trying! =)

One of my favorites!

Playing, sharing, helping, learning, loving

"It's ok baby"

Addy is such a good big sister!! Here she offered Kennedy a calming hug that made it all better.

Fun at home

I got her!

She's not going anywhere!

Grandpa and Grandma visit!

We had a lot of fun with Adam's parents while they were out here last week. We didn't take a ton of pictures, but here are a few! And Kennedy really was around with us - just quite often in her carrier under a blanket - shielded from the weather. We'll be sure to get some pics of Kennedy and the grandparents in September when we're all back together again!

Happy Opening Day!

We got a fun-filled package from the Harringtons last night - and oh my goodness - what fun it was! In honor of Opening Day, Addy and Ken received super yummy meringue cookies shaped like baseballs and a very cool pillow set in the shape of a glove and baseball. Addy decided that the glove part of the set worked well as a hat and Kennedy had fun chasing the ball around, so it worked perfectly. Here are the girls and Dad posing and then Addy enjoying a couple bites of the cookie. She's no fool - "Sure Mom, I'll pose holding a cookie!"
