Santa and the fam

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

We stopped the other day at the mall to hear The Dickens Carolers sing. This video isn't of anything other than Addy being Addy - but it is very much our cute little Addy. And it's set to pretty music too. Merry Christmas!

Snow!

Snow isn't really all that common in these parts, so when we see the white stuff, we bundle up and get out in it immediately! While Kennedy finished up her morning nap in the nice warm house this morning, Addy was throwing snowballs outside in the cold, crisp air.

What's cuter than a baby yawn?

Teddy bears galore

While we were in Seattle yesterday, the girls and I stopped by the Teddy Bear Suite at the Fairmont Hotel. Click here and here to see last year's pictures of the Teddy Bear Suite. Quite a difference a year makes!

First carousel ride

Addy, Kennedy and I went into Seattle yesterday. While we were there, we took a spin on the carousel. Kennedy slept through the whole thing. Addy wasn't completely sure about the whole up and down thing. And Mom wondered just what she had gotten herself into as she tried to hold a wiggly toddler on a moving horse, and keep Kennedy's blanket over her head, all while trying not to fall down - going round and round and moving up and down. Quite a sight we were, I think. =)

Kennedy's hat

I'm just now getting some pictures and videos off of the 'little camera' from Thanksgiving. This was taken on the plane on our way home from Wisconsin. Addy was playing with (read: shredding) a napkin when all of a sudden she decided that Kennedy needed to have it on her head. Here she is adding some final touches to Kennedy's hat.

Wheee!

Addy and I went to Jump Planet the other day, while Dad and Kennedy shared some bonding time of their own too, and we had a blast. Though Addy wasn't really sure about the bouncy houses, she loved the slide - and was gung-ho to go down on her own. Up and down and up and down we went. Hmm... if only climbing up were as fun as going down!

Kennedy is two months old!

Holiday photos

Trying to get two kiddos in the same shot, looking the same way with the same props... not so easy. Here are some of the 'outtakes'.
(They're still super cute though, if I do say so myself!)

Mommy's Helper

Addy helped me get ready for the Just Because Santa shoot a couple days ago by being my Santa model. She makes a pretty good one, don'tchya think?

The stamp

After storytime at the library and after Addy's Wiggle Worms class, the kids usually receive stamps from the librarian or teacher. Usually Addy puts out both hands and to be stamped and comes home with two inked characters. Today at Wiggle Worms, some of the kids were getting stamps on their tummies. Addy, not wanting to be left out of the fun bared her midriff for an extra-special third stamp. She's been showing it off quite a bit since we got home. I'm not sure what we started! =)

Happy Thanksgiving!

We went to Wisconsin to celebrate Thanksgiving with Adam's family (and were able to see my Great Aunt Ione in there too). Click here to see more pictures.

Childhood

After one of my recent sittings, Addy went to the studio to help me clean up. She was having a ton of fun, even though she was still not really cooperative about the whole picture-being-taken-thing. But still, I picked up the camera and started shooting. Though these are far from the best technical shots, I think that they shots capture some of what 'childhood' is all about. =)

Snuggles with sister

One day Addy got up from her nap in a very snuggly mood. She and Kennedy sat together here for quite a while and a lot of the time was spent hugging and snuggling.

Catching up

In case you can't tell, Addy loves Pooh. In the second video, Addy is doing the motions that appear on the screen.
